How I became a Christian by Martyn
 I
became a born again christian in 1996. I was staying with my wife's
family in Melton Mowbray, England, and I dared to ask God for proof
that he really existed, (a bit presumptious I know), during a time
of prayer.
Well the next thing I know is, that I am collapsed in a heap on
the floor unable to get up!! Now this scared me especially as had
just prayed this prayer. It wasn't me fainting because I know what
that feels like. I can only say that it was God's hand at work.
I am one of the world's biggest skeptics as far as such happenings
go, and here it is happening to me!!
I gave my life to Jesus shortly afterwards and got baptised.
My life has really changed, my attitude towards others, work, everything.
This is to encourage you all that God really is alive and very
well. He is not just for me and my fellow christians, he is for
all of you and he is looking for new members all the time. He blesses
those in need (after all the healthy don't need a doctor!!) He wants
you all to be saved. It is too late when you die!! Hell is an awful
place and "for ever" is an awful long time. Go to a church,
talk to them about anything. I'm sure they will try to help as best
they can.
